Designing Interfaces That Perform

A closer look at who I am, what drives my design process, and why I obsess over every pixel and interaction.

I'm Akinyemi, a UI/UX designer and Framer developer based in Lagos.

I got into this because I'm bothered by friction — a button that's one tap too many, a flow that makes someone pause and guess. Most of the projects I take on start the same way: a product that works, but users hesitate, drop off, or need explaining before they get it. My job is to close that gap, and honestly, finding where it breaks and fixing it is the part I enjoy most.

Here's what most people ask before we start working together.

How long does a typical project take?

It depends on scope — a landing page can go from wireframe to live in a matter of days, while a full product redesign takes longer since it involves more research and iteration. I'll give you a clear timeline after our first call.

Do you only work in Framer, or do you also design in Figma?

Both. Some projects need a live, production-ready site, so I build those in Framer. Others just need strong UI/UX design handed off to your own dev team — for those, I work in Figma.

What do you need from me to get started?

A short project brief covering your goals, target users, and any existing brand or design assets. If you don't have all of that yet, that's fine — we'll work through it together on our first call.

Can you redesign an existing product, or do you only build from scratch?

Both. If your product already exists but users are hesitating or dropping off, I'll audit where the friction is and rebuild around that. If you're starting from an idea, we build the whole flow from the ground up.

How many rounds of revisions are included?

Most projects include 2 rounds of revisions. For larger or more complex projects, this can be adjusted — we'll agree on what makes sense before we start.
